Really the fact is Obesity is the NO 1 cause of diabetes, unfortunately when you look into it, by being obese you are setting yourself up for a fall. Because obese people can also be more afflicted by stroke heart disease and heart attack.

These types of habits are major road blocks when it comes to losing weight. When you start the diet you have some initial will power and you do okay for a short period of time. But soon those habits get in the way again.

To be honest with you this is probably the biggest reason diets fail. Yes diets usually fail because of you! Bummer, the truth about yourself does not always make you feel better does it.

The biggest challenge is finding a system that can help you achieve your goals but even beyond that you may find that you need help with bigger issues like making mental changes that can lead to new habits.

People who don’t understand the balance between watching what you eat, taking in adequate water, physical exercises and getting proper amounts of sleep are easy prey to the “weight loss gurus” pushing the latest fad diet, diet pill or quick weight loss diet. It’s not hard to find these fad or celebrity weight loss plans and diet pills. Because most individuals today have been programmed to want everything now, it’s much easier to think (or even believe) that a magic does exist that can burn off fat virtually overnight, than to accept that we have power to re-structure our lives and live healthier longer lives where being overweight is the thing of the past.
